Lincoln City, OR - In conjunction with the Glass Studio, the Lincoln City Visitor and Convention Bureau will be holding a Fifth Anniversary Celebration for the Jennifer L. Sears Glass Art Studio on February 5, 2010 from 5:00p.m. - 8:00p.m.

 

Hosted in the studio building at 4821 SW Highway 101 the celebration is free and open to the public. Enjoy live music, hors d'oeuvres, door prizes and a drawing ticket for one of three free chances to blow your own float or paperweight. Mingle with the artists, watch a demonstration or just enjoy the new exhibits that the studio has to offer.

 

Known for placing glass floats on the beaches along its western border for people to find and enjoy, Lincoln City opened the Jennifer L. Sears Glass Studio as a way of bringing the art of glass blowing even further into the lives of those who admire the art form.
